TREKKING IN LADAKH

Lamayuru - Alchi Trek
This 5 days trek will lead you to most facinating monastery of Lamayuru to start the trek and further to Wanla to base of Tar La to Hinju and will finish teh trek in Alchi. Alchi is the only one monastery which is constructed in flat ground in Ladakh. This trek can be modified by staying more nights in Leh and further extension to Nubra Valley or High altitudeLakes like Tso Moriri and Pangong Tso.

Markha Valley Trek
One of the most popular trek in Ladakh with full of variation and rich in wildlife. This trek can be compleated in 10 days and can be extended further to 12 days and more. This trek can be done in reverse order. A Wildlife fee is compulsory to enter in this region.

Darcha - Padum Trek
This Trek will start from Darcha from the North of Himachal and a gradual pace will lead you to Zanskar confluence called Zanskar Sumdo. Climb the Singola Pass which is approx 5000 meter high and further down you will enter in Zanskar Valley. Month of May attract you beautiful flowers around. Normally it is a 10 days trek and one of the most popular trek in Zanskar.

This 7 days trek will start form Lamayuru and further to Hinju - Chilling - Sumdo and Ganda la to Stok. Having this trek you may modify by covering Markha valley with this trek.

Martselang - Stok Trek
This trek is recommanded for the first time visitor in Leh Ladakh to see the beautiful mountain anges and close to Leh town. This trek is recommanded for the students and moderate trekking lovers.

Tso Moriri Lake South East Trek
To start this 7 days trek you need to drive to Tso moriri first. This is one of the high altitude lake in Ladakh which is full of wildlife and famous for floa and fauna. YOu may start in reverse order but recommanded to have the trek stated from Rumtse which is on the way to Manali form Leh.

Lamayuru - Hemis Trek
Drive to west on Leh Srinagar highway and start trek from Lamayuru. way back to east you will pass some of the most interesting palces and finish the trek in biggest monastery called Hemis. This is a long trek and may take 12 days approx.

Rupshu Valley Trek
Lying between Zanskar and the Tibetan border to the east is the region known as Rupshu, the highest and least well- known part of Ladakh.9 days trek will be interesting for your quest.

Kibber to Tso Moriri Trek
Tso-Moriri is a huge mountain lake in the South East Ladakh, in the Rupshu (Chang-Thang Plateau, geographically- a part of Tibetan plateau) region. This lake is situated at an altitude of 4,600m above sea level, at a distance of 240 km from Leh city. It is pearl shape and contains large mineral deposits. Karzok village is situated on the South West bank of this lake. Karzok village is situated at a height of 4'650m and it's the world's highest inhabited village.

Darcha - Lamayuru Trek
Should you need to go for an advance trek than this is the best possible option for your interest. This trek can be completed in 20 days and should you need to have more fun than 2 -3 more days can be added. There is no evacuation enroute and specially on this midway called Padum which is the headquarter of Zanskar. From heer you may get a transport which may lead you to either Srinagar or Leh. Get ready for high passes up and down and you may cross nearly 13 passes on this trek.

Very interesting for normal trekkers or biginners. This is an easy trek which can be completed in 3 days and extended up to 5 days. beautiful villages and scenery enroute will attract you. YOu may have luxury enroute to stay in guest houses instead of Tents.

Nubra Valley Trek
Valley of Flowers - this is another name for Nubra Valley which is in the North of Leh. Start your trek from nearby village called Sabu and further up hill trek to cross the pass called Diggar La. You have an option to cut short the trek and join the transport to go ahead to Nubra Valley either to Hunder or Diskit. This is moderate to Strenious in grading and you need to be a good trekker to complete the same.
